Time: 2024-01-12

In recent days, extreme cold weather has suddenly arrived. On this cold day, people need to be more cautious and take a series of measures to cope with the cold weather, ensuring their own safety and warmth. Of course, our lithium batteries are no exception.

Extremely cold weather has brought challenges to the use of lithium batteries for forklifts. In order to ensure that lithium batteries can operate normally and safely in low temperature environment, we hereby provide you with the following warm tips:

1. In low-temperature environments, the activity of batteries will be reduced to varying degrees, so the charging and discharging efficiency of batteries will also be affected. Please closely monitor the temperature changes of the battery, ensure that the optimal temperature is between 10-40 , and keep the battery level above 50%;

2. At low temperatures, the battery capacity of lithium batteries will decrease by 10-30%, and the usage time will be shortened. Please try to avoid excessive discharge, allocate charging time reasonably, and arrange charging in a room environment as much as possible to avoid low outdoor temperatures that may affect the battery's use after charging is completed;

3. At low temperatures, it is recommended to charge the lithium battery as soon as possible after it has finished working! At this time, the temperature of the battery slightly rises due to the internal heat generated during the discharge process. The temperature of the battery is more suitable for charging. If the temperature of the battery is below 5 , the charging speed will decrease;

4. When the temperature is low, do not park the battery in a low-temperature area for a long time. If the temperature of the battery is below 0 during charging, it will be unable to charge. In this case, the battery should be moved indoors to warm up before charging. For batteries used in cold areas or charged outdoors, it is recommended to choose a heating system when purchasing.
